Are the Cabins pre-treated? |

Will I need to obtain planning permission for my Lillevilla? |

Lillevilla & Luoman cabins are not pre-treated due to the nature of their construction and therefore need to be treated within 2 weeks of installation.
We reccommend treating both inside and outside |

Planning permission is not normally required for our smaller cabins providing it is 5 metres away from the main property, it does not exceed more than 50% of your total garden area and is under 4 metres in height. However, if you are in any doubt or live in a conservation area or listed building, please contact your local planning office or log onto www.planning.odpm.gov.uk |

What base is best for the cabin?

Can I add extra windows and
doors to the cabin? |

A reinforced concrete slab with a minimum depth of 125mm is recommended for the base |

Extra windows and doors can be added at the time of ordering, they will however need to be cut into the building during installation. |

Is the wood from a sustainable source? |
|
|
|
|
Luoman take their responsibilities to the environment very seriously. After a lot of hard work, they have this year achieved certification from the Pan European Forestry Council (PEFC). It is also worth pointing out that 95% of all timber in Finland is considered to be certified. |
